Prayer to St. Joseph in the Winter of My Life
Good St. Joseph… Please help me with my challenges… with my illness… with my loneliness… with my fear. So much has changed in my life. I cannot do the activities that I used to do. I cannot go to the places that I used to go. I cannot go on outings with my friends.
At times, I cannot pray. Help me to find new activities to occupy my time and friends who understand what I am experiencing in the winter of my life… friends who will journey with me.
Help me to pray and to trust in God’s Divine Providence for me. Please intercede for me to our Lord, Good Saint Joseph, through the intercession of our dear Mother of Mercy, that I may be detached from all that weighs on my heart and on my life… that I may experience peace, love and joy. Amen.
This is a prayer to St. Joseph for the elderly who face the difficulties of old age, such as the loss of friends and family and the ability to go about as one pleases. The painting is the Death of St. Joseph, by Francesco Polazzo.
